About Us

Rachael Bowdridge

Rachael Bowdridge is the founder of NL Pet Finder.

She is an Executive Member of Beagle Paws, and a fundraiser volunteer with the SPCA in St. John's.

Throughout her life, she has had many pets of her own.
They include: cats, dogs, rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas, hamsters, guinea pigs, rats, mice, cockatiels, gerbils, turtles, fish, frogs, and newts (just to name a few).
She also has previous work experience at a local-owned, pet store in St. John's.
Here she cared for many other exotic animals, birds and fish.

Rachael is currently continuing her education as she attends school for Veterinary Assistant at Academy Canada.

Rachael is the proud "mama" to 3 beagles, 7 cats, 2 ferrets, 2 rabbits and 5 dwarf hamsters.

As an avid animal lover, she was inspired to create NL Pet Finder when she was able to locate her friend's lost kitty three weeks after the cat went missing.
Her idea is to form a "Network" with all animal shelters and organizations in Newfoundland & Labrador.
With this idea, she is dedicated to help spread the word of lost or found pets and getting them home.
